Billet Graphics Employment Opportunities:

Immediate position available May 1, 2007
Manassas, VA - First or Day Shift Lead Bindery and Mailshop Operations

Billet Graphics is currently looking for a highly experienced bindery operator who resides in Northern Virginia to run our modern bindery equipment, which includes (pictures of our facility and bindery equipment at bottom of page):

• Pro-Cut 32" Programmable Paper Cutter (due for upgrade to larger/faster cutter in 2007)
• Polar RA-4 Jogger with Air Removal (new addition in December 2006)
• Baum 20" folder with Right Angle/8p Section
• 20 Station Duplo System 4000 Bookletmaking System with Reverse Stacker

While not an initial job requirement, we are also looking for a bindery operator who has experience in operating mailshop equipment, specifically high speed tabbing and inkjet addressing systems. If the candidate does not have experience in mailing work, it would not disqualify for them for the position, but an applicant with such experience, or experience with computer database work and an interest in learning this part of our operation would be of considerable value in terms of consideration and compensation.

Our mailing system is a complete inline system offering inline tabbing with a Secap Jet1 Tabber, custom MailRight inkjetting table and an inkjetting and drying system that allows us to address at speeds approaching 20,000 pieces per hour even on our aqueous coated materials. We only mail what we print in house.

Candidates should have strong communication skills, a strong work ethic, be reliable, enthusiastic and dependable, motivated to work overtime and be familiar with computers and use of the internet and e-mail in their daily jobs.

Billet Graphics produces quality work for local printing companies, agencies, and graphic designers. We run computer to metal plate using the top of the line Trueflow workflow and Screen thermal platesetter, and our pre-press is integrated to the press for ink key data.
